1-Piece CUSTOM Aluminum Drive Shaft for 03+ Ram HD's
After many phone calls, emails and customer requests, we are finally able to provide a 1-piece aluminum drive
shaft for ALL cab and drive configurations on the 3rd and 4th Gen Ram HD trucks, EXCEPT 2WD trucks with the 2-piece shaft.
These are completely assembled, high speed balanced and ready to install when they arrive.

These ARE NOT off the shelf OEM shafts. These are custom made for your truck and your measurements. Stock height,
lifted, lowered, axle swaps, etc., are no longer out of the question.

These can be made for you NV5600 QC/LB 4WD owners with
the 2-piece shafts that are tired of replacing the problematic center carrier bearing on your OEM shaft. The other benefit
is that the joints in these shafts are commonly available and much easier to replace than the weaker AAM joints.
For the high horsepower guys looking for strength AND significant weight reduction in the drive line, the 5" shafts
combined with the 1480 Spicer XL joints represent a 150% increase in yield strength over the stock 2-piece shaft. It also
drops a significant amount of weight. On a SB/QC truck with the 1-piece steel, going to the 5" with 1480 joints dropped
18 lbs off the rear driveline. For the 2-piece shafts, you go from 71 lbs with the 2-piece steel to 39 lbs with our 1-piece;
a savings of 32 pounds.
These are pricier than the OEM aluminum shafts that we also offer, but they are superior
in every category. The walls are .125" vs the OEM shafts .094" walls. The joints are much larger and more commonly
available Spicer XL's. The yield strength in the 1410 series is approx 100% higher than the OEM series and approx 150%
higher in the 1480 series.
You can choose from either the 1410 series shaft or the massive 1480 series shaft. For
the daily driver, hot shot hauler, or vehicles that DO NOT see competitive, high horsepower use, you can go with the
1410 series. For those vehicles that will see high HP and torque or will be used competitively, you want the 1480's.

Again, these are custom made to you truck and you must get
us 2 measurements and 2 pictures in order to receive your drive shaft. We HIGHLY recommend that you have a professional mechanic
do the measurement for you if you are unsure of your abilities.
Please go to our FORMS page and complete the Drive Shaft Order Form. It's a fillable PDF document and includes
everything you need to get the right measurements; no need to print, scan or fax it. Just save it and email it to the address
on the form after you place your order.
Lead time is 7 - 10 days on these shafts.
